Frequently Asked Questions
How does a literacy nonprofit help kids?
Imagine Nation Foundation provides age-appropriate books and resources that help children practice build home libraries, build confidence in reading and develop a lifelong love of books.
Where does my contribution go?
All operating costs of the foundation are covered by other generous donors. That means every dollar you contribute goes directly toward purchasing books for kids in economically disadvantaged communities.
Are contributions tax-deductible?
Yes. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, contributions are generally tax-deductible as allowed by law. You’ll receive a receipt for your records.
How do books reach the kids?
Books are distributed through our Books Are Fun partnerships with schools and community programs, ensuring children receive books they can keep and read at home.
Do kids get to choose their own books?
Books are carefully selected by our literary experts to match age ranges and reading levels, so every child receives high-quality, age appropriate popular titles.
Why focus on home libraries?
Having books at home helps children read more often, strengthens skills, and builds confidence. Access to books at home is proven to improve literacy.
Does my contribution really make a difference?
Yes. Your support directly puts books into children’s hands, often for kids who may not otherwise have access to books at home.
Is there any cost to the school?
No. Schools are able to participate without using their own budgets, making it easier for every student to benefit.
